Collect things you love, that are authentic to you, and your house becomes your story.

(what she said)

Nothing brand new adds as much warmth and character as a carefully selected piece that’s been around for awhile.

There is a balance between decorating a room with a pleasing blend of old and new and decorating a room that looks like a time capsule paying homage to your great grandparents. Sourcing just the right piece (or pieces!) with their own histories is my happy place; combining new and storied in living spaces is my happy place.

I am an interior decorator with a certificate from the University of Richmond with a background in photography (MFA from VCU), communications, and graphic design. My love and practice of everything from knitting (I owned a yarn shop - The Yarn Lounge - in a previous iteration of myself), sewing, leatherwork, and metal-and-silversmithing makes me uniquely suited to creative problem solving and innovative repurposing.

I’ even completed a three-week post-and-beam building class at Shelter Institute in Woolwich, Maine last year where we used all hand tools in the construction of a 24’x36’ building.
